Our behavior modification program seeks to modify the dog's behavior in response to certain triggers. As most of these behaviors are performed in response to fear, it would be essential to modify the dog's emotional response to those triggers with an appropriate counter-conditioning and systematic desensitization plan.

A crucial component to successful behavior modification is your commitment. Successful behavior modification relies heavily on consistency and careful management.

Common behaviors that can be addressed:

• Lunging / barking at strangers and dogs
• Cowering and pulling away from scary environment stimulus
• Pulling on leash
• Jumping
• Resource guarding
• Unwillingness to cooperate during grooming / vet checks

Course duration and fees: Duration is dependent on initial assessment and what goals we want to achieve. However, a minimum of 5 sessions is required for any training plan to be meaningful.

 Initial consultation @$300 and 5 training sessions @ $275/hour. $1,675* for 5+1 sessions.
10 sessions @ $250/hour PLUS Complimentary 60-min initial consultation.  $2,500* for 10+1 sessions.

 * Location surcharge may be chargeable if travel time required is greater than 20 min from River Valley Road.We reserve the right to withhold services if payment has not been received. All training programs have a validity period of 6 months from the date of the first training session.
