8 weeks to 6 months

For 1st time puppy owners, it can be really daunting. Many often wonder "Why doesn't my puppy come with an instruction manual?" Indeed, puppies will exhibit natural dog behaviors if they have not been taught how to live with us. Puppy Training takes advantage of the puppy's limited life experiences to teach them the life skills and get the little ones off on the right foot.  We set the stage for communication and learning that will take place later on in life. 7 months to 2 years

Like all adolescents, dogs can forget their basic manners or develop behaviors you never saw coming. The adolescence phase is where behaviors start becoming ingrained as they go into adulthood.  Whether your dog is forgetting their manners or has never been taught the skills when they were younger,  we can refine your dog's behavior and let them bring those good behaviors into adulthood. All life stages

Behavior modification refers to behaviors that annoy owners or those that we prefer not to have. Example pulling on leash, jumping, resource guarding, lunging and barking at people or dogs, etc.  These are natural dog behaviors exhibited in response to  an underlying need or fear that the dog has.  Understanding and addressing these behaviors will allow you enjoy more activities with your dog and establish a stronger bond. Prevention is better and much easier than cure. This program is for pets who are neutral to handling and grooming practices or those who have not yet had such an exposure. We will seek to turn it into a positive one for them and have them enjoy it.

3 Sessions @  $295/hour

Mandatory 60-min in-home consultation @ $300

Your dog has already had some exposure to grooming and handling at the vet's and is slightly uncomfortable with it. This program will seek to turn this slight negative association to one that is more neutral.

5 sessions @ $275/hour

 An advanced program is required if your dog already has an extreme fear or dislike towards handling  and grooming. An appropriate and customized plan will be put in place to counter condition your dog's strong emotional response.
